Odd behavior of backspace in Vim (SSH to Linux from Mac) -

i didn't alter setting of vim, today backspace gets crazy behavior. every time when nail it, not delete character, prints ^?. knows going on?

the problem comes communication between mac terminal linux terminal.

go mac terminal -> preferences -> advanced tab, check alternative "delete sends ctrl-h". after login linux, , backspace works fine in vim.
